CONCEPT
- The six-a-side is played on the SKW field over a period of three Wednesday nights. (May 19, Jun 2 and June 9)
- Seven (7) teams are participating in the Over 30 age group.
- Four (4) teams are participating in the Over 40 age group
- Over 30 teams are playing each other once. (Thus a total of 6 games - Round-robin)
- Over 40 teams play each other twice.
Die Alten Herren des SKW gibt es seit Anfang der 80ziger Jahre, als die damals jungen Kicker in die Jahre kamen und den neuen Jungen in der ersten Liga weichen mussten.
Viele dieser Spieler waren auch gleichzeitig Mitgründer der Fussballabteilung, die mit eigenen Händen den noch heute gebrauchten Fussballplatz pflanzten. Nach drei Deutschland- und 2 Bankocktourneen folgte ein Trip zum Weltgrössten Fußball Turnier, wo man den fünften Platz belegen konnte.
Die AH spielen heute in der Namibischen AH Liga mit und konnten diese auch schon mehrmals gewinnen. Viele Spiele bestritt der Klub gegen Gastmannschaften aus aller Welt, vor allem aus Deutschland und Südafrika.
Trainiert wird einmal pro Woche und das am Mittwoch von 18h45 bis 20h15. (nach Absprache auch sonntags 10h00)
Aktueller Trainer der AH Garde ist Udo Riedel, derweil Reimund Stoldt das Team managed.

Ramblers 5 a side old boys Tournament : Atlantis Sport Club won the over 33 category while Epukiro won the over 40 age category
The over 33 had their worst tournament in the resent years and ended second last due to several players not pitching for the tournament.

The tornament was played on a small-field (5-a-side) on Saturday 13 March.
In two age groups: 33+ (Born 1977 or earlier) 40+ (Born 1970 or earlier).

Petkum Ü60 verlor 0:3 - Ostfriesen Zeitung 23.3.2010
EMDEN - Die Ü 60-Fußballer des SV Petkum verloren ihr zweites Freundschaftsspiel in Namibia beim Sport-Club Windhoek mit 0:3 (0:2). Die Gastgeber traten mit ihrer Altherren-Mannschaft an und waren im Durchschnitt etwa 20 Jahre jünger als die Ostfriesen. Das Stadion des Nachbarlandes von Südafrika lag auf einer Höhe von 1700 Metern. Da war es nicht verwunderlich, dass die Petkumer Luftschwierigkeiten bekamen. Konditionell waren die Gastgeber den Deutschen deutlich überlegen. Bernd Reuter hatte Pech mit einem Lattenschuss und vergab die beste Möglichkeit, das Ehrentor zu erzielen. Inzwischen ist die 37-köpfige Reisegruppe aus Ostfriesland wieder in ihre Heimat zurückgekehrt.
Geschichte der Petkumer Altliga/Ü60 Mannschaft in Kurzform
Trainiert wird seit 1990 jeden Dienstag, bei jedem Wind und Wetter draußen, immer ab 17.45 Uhr. Besonders die dritte Halbzeit ist sehr schön.
Vor einigen Jahren, die meisten Petkumer Altligisten hatten das 60. Lebensjahr erreicht, wurde eine Ü60 Mannschaft ins Leben gerufen.
Inzwischen gibt es in Ostfriesland und im Ammerland mehrere Ü60 Mannschaften, so dass von März bis November fast jede Woche - immer wochentags - gespielt wird.

in Afrika. Es wird dort 2x gespielt, und zwar am 12.3. in Swakopmund gegen die "Swakopmunder FC Alte Herren" und am 18.3. gegen die Alten Herren vom "Sport Klub Windhoek", die sicherlich auch im Durchschnitt 20 Jahre jünger sind.

CONCEPT

- Seven (7) teams are participating in the Over 30 age group.
- Four (4) teams are participating in the Over 40 age group
- Over 30 teams are playing each other once. (Thus a total of 6 games - Round-robin)
- Over 40 teams play each other twice.
- During the round-robin stage, 3 points for a win and one point for a draw.
- Teams are placed as follow: Most points - Direct result - Goal difference - Goals scored - Shoot-out (5 each, thereafter sudden death).
BASIC RULES:
- Each team may nominate a squad of 14 players for the series. (Please hand in before first match)
- Each team may nominate 10 players for an evening. (Team Return to be completed for every match)
- Age restrictions as follow:
Over 30: Born 1980 or earlier.
Over 40: Born 1970 or earlier.
- Matches are 2 x 10 min. with no interval.
- Interval between matches is 4 minutes
- Have 1 Keeper and 5 players on the field
- Substitution on flying basis, but only at the marked zone.
- The field is marked into thirds and a team is only allowed to score from the third closest to the opponent's goal.
- Two yellow cards in the series result in a one match suspension, the next match.
- Two yellow cards in the same match, results in an immediate suspension and one match suspension for the next match.
- Red card in a match results in an immediate suspension and a two match suspension.
- If any team receives three or more red cards during the tournament, the team may be expelled by the tournament organizers.
- Red and Yellow/Red carded players may NOT be replaced in the same match.
- Registration fee of N$ 200.00 is payable before the first match. (Fees for the officials)
- If a team does not play/is available for a match, the result will be 0:2 in favor of their opponents.
It is the organisors digression to expel a team for bad behavior.

OTAVI lädt zum 5-a-side Alte Herren Fußballturnier am 14. & 15. August 2010
Der Schulverein OTAVI lädt zum 5-a-side Alte Herren Fußballturnier ein. Das Programm startet am Samstag Morgen, den 14. August 2010 um 8h00 auf dem Sportfeld der DPSO.
Es wird in 3 Gruppen gespielt:
1.) Mannschaften 40 Jahre aufwärts
2.) Mannschaften 30 - 40 Jahre
3.) Mannschaften 17.– 30 Jahre

The German Schulverein Otavi invites you to our yearly old Boys 5-a-side soccertournament taking place at the sportsgrounds of the DPSO in Otavi. The tournament will start at 8h00 on Saturday morning the 14th August 2010.
The agedivisions are as follows:
1.) Agegroup 40 +
2.) Agegroupe between 30 and 40 years
3.) Agegroup between 17 and 30 Years
