Horstie Pietsch Cup 2009
- SKW returned home with a great second place after travelling with only 13 player to the annual Horstie Pietsch Cup to Walvisbay. The 21. edition of the Cup was won by hosts Atlantis Sports Club with Sport Klub Windhoek in second place.
SKW Alte Herren / Old Boys 2009
Die Alten Herren des SKW gibt es seit Anfang der 80ziger Jahre, als die damals jungen Kicker in die Jahre kamen und den neuen Jungen in der ersten Liga weichen mussten.
Viele dieser Spieler waren auch gleichzeitig Mitgründer der Fussballabteilung, die mit eigenen Händen den noch heute gebrauchten Fussballplatz pflanzten. Nach drei Deutschland- und 2 Bankocktourneen folgte dieses Jahr der Trip zum Weltgrössten Fußball Turnier.
Die AH spielen heute in der Namibischen AH Liga mit und konnten diese auch schon mehrmals gewinnen. Viele Spiele bestritt der Klub gegen Gastmannschaften aus aller Welt, vor allem aus Deutschland und Südafrika.
Trainiert wird einmal pro Woche und das am Mittwoch von 18h45 bis 20h15. (nach Absprache auch sonntags 10h00)
Aktueller Trainer der AH Garde ist Udo Riedel, derweil Reimund Stoldt das Team managed.
The SKW old boys wins the 20 year celebration HP cup (Horsti Pietsch Cup) in style without loosing a single game. With scores on Friday 26 September, SKW vs Atlantis 2 - 0, Epukiro vs SKW 0 - 2, and on Saturday, 27 September in Windhoek on the Ramblers-field, OTB vs SKW 0 - 3, SFC vs SKW 0 - 1, SKW vs DTS 0 - 0, SKW vs Ramblers 2 - 1, SKW managed to only give away one draw and one goal. Scoring 10 goals and gaining 16 out of possible 18 points the squad of coach Udo Riedel was a force and back to its capable performance which let the down the recent years.
Technical stuff Jörg Pomrehn, Dieter Zimny at the end were very delighted when SKW could win the most probably best final of the recent years against arch revivals Ramblers by two goals to one.

SKW old boys win the annual six a side tournament. The top goal scorers came from the winning side as well, with Roger Henckert and Gero Schonecke ending both on eight goals. “This was the one of the fairest tournament we ever had”, commented the tournament organizer, Mr Udo Riedel, after the last match.
