for the WIKA Street Procession

Bitte benutzen sie das folgende Formular um sich zur Teilnahme am Umzug des WIKA 2009 am 12 April 2009 ein zu schreiben. Der Umzug sammelt sich ab 09:30 auf dem Parkplatz der Windhoek Hauptbahnhofes von wo er um 11:11 abfährt über die Bahnhof Strasse zur Independence Aveue und dann in Südlicher Richtung zum Ausspannplatz, wo er sich dann auflöst. Dauer des Umzuges ist ca. 2 Stunden. Bitte vergessen sie nicht den Frühschoppen im SKW in Olympia im Anschluss an den Umzug.

Please use the following form to register your participation at the Street Procession of the WIKA 2009, that takes place on 12 April 2009. The procession gets together as from 90:30 on on the Parking Area of the Windhoek Station, from where it departs at 11:11 via Bahnhof Street to Independence Avenue, where it turns South towards Ausspannplatz, where it ends. Duration of the procession is approximately 2 hours. Please don't forget to join us at the "Frühschoppen" at the SKW in Olympia folloing the procession.

Conditions of Participation:
  1. Maximum height of float shall not exceed 4,2 meters.
  2. All wheels are to be covered or, if open, shall be guarded by walking float personell.
    Failure to adhere to this rule may result in your participation in the procession being
    denied by the WIKA chairman.
  3. Traffic Officers, Pedestrians and other Participants in the procession shall not be
    harrassed or abused, be it verbally or physically.
  4. Floats shall be decorated in accordance with the carnival theme.
  5. Floats shall report at the Windhoek Station Parking area in Bahnhof Street not later
    than 09:30 on 04 April 2009. The Procession shall depart at 11:11.
  6. Participation is subject to the final approval by the WIKA Chairman.
  7. The WIKA Organising Committee or the SKW shall not be held liable to any claims whatsoever arrising out of the participation of this Procession.
  8. I, the undersigned, agree to to act according these conditions as laid down by the
    organising committee of the Windhoek Carnival Society (WIKA) and accept full
    liability for any injury caused by our participation in this event.
