Match Report:
Perfect start: 2nd minute 1:0, Rassie, when a through pass beat the off-side trap. United are a very physical team, which the youngsters had to get used too, and a lot of sloppy passing did not too much for constructive game plan. We a created number of good chances which we did finish. The defence marshalled by newcomer Reya, supported by a cool Ander in goals, was most of the time in control. Midfield with also two players, Charley and Diego struggled to get a grip on matters, but tried for the whole game to get our forwards into gaps. It was a good team effort, but as it was the 1st game, there is still room for a lot of improvements.

Bollotti steers u20's to the top
Dino Ballotti, one of SKW's NPL coaches, took over the SKW u/20 whilst they were placed in 5th position. Now that he is in charge,the team has won five matches in a row to go top of the table. Some of the matches have by no means been a walk in the park, Ballotti said. "We were pushed to the wire against Telecom and Nampost who boasted a number of premier league players, yet, took the all important 3 points".
The team is playing good quality football and has moved away from the individual game they were accustomed to, to team football which wins leagues.
The team is currently occupying first position in the stream with crucial matches remaining. A special thanks to Vincent Matte (19 years of age), the teams stand-in goalkeeper, who has joined from 1st division outfit Young One's F.C during the teams pre-season.
He is team captain of the Khomas u20 Newspaper Cup side as well as Young One's F.C 2010 season Player of the Season. Other notable players that have stood out are centre backs Allan and Bob who have found a great understanding at the heart of defence. Defensive midfielder Charlie, who is an NPL target, attacking midfielder Thomas 'Bhasera' 'Blou' and attacking pair of Treasure and Rasie who have all done very well.
With only four matches remaining, the team is all systems go to surpass all expectations and win the league! In a recent competitive friendly, the u20 beat the CSL side to take bragging rights for the time being.
